"White" Challenge

...really should be "I am white challenged". I have the hardest time having ANY white left on my card so this was extremely hard one for me. Over at Mo's Digital Challenge Blog she had a challenge to make an all white card except the image....it took me 4 days to get it to the point where I could "deal" with the all white idea. So here is mine. I also want to mention that this is one VERY talented lady. Her drawings are incredible, sweet, lots of personality and definitely my NEW favorite. Check out her store HERE. She also is a member of SNR and PCP if you want to join her groups at these places. I look forward to the next challenge!

I colored with Copic markers. I popped up the bunny, and made a hand made flower with chunky glitter. The card is a little plain (for me)...but I like it.

Thanks, my friend.

Image was all sponged with ink and finger daubers.

Thank you for the lovely stencil of this beautiful poppy. This stencil is a 3 part stencil. It was given to me by my friend Marty....so I just had to give her back the first card made. I think the card is yummy, what do you think?

Really Haven't Been Slacken'

This is Tinker Fairy. I drew her by hand and painted her on an old rocking chair for a little girl. She didn't like to sit on the rocking chair until Tinker Fairy came along. See I have been busy!

"ugly" Challenge 6

And the last one for the challenge was a brown and blue paper with hieroglyphs on it. Okay Nancy, I know we live in Arizona...but this paper was U-G-L-Y! I used it for the background of this card and stamped it with a coffee word background stamp. I think its cute...and I hope you do to. Whew...challenge done! Now back to coloring some new, wonderful Pike images :)

"ugly" Challenge 4

This card took me about 2 hours to just think of a use for the most horrible paper made on this planet! Thanks Stacey for making all the ugly paper I own look beautiful. Pink and white houndstooth paper...PUKE! But after tons of "thinking", this is what I came up with. I took all the scraps and threw them in the trash after tearing them into tiny pieces...I never want to see this paper again...Lol.

"Ugly" Challenge 3

And next we have a Paisley Print paper that Sandy just didn't have a taste for. I saved all the scraps for me as I really like this paper...but as promised, I made this card for her.

Dustin Pikes NEW image (go check them out)

A little boy, who just turned 5 is in the end stages of cancer. The family is celebrating Christmas next week as they don't believe that he will make it until the actual holiday. Noah's Christmas wish this year is that he receives LOTS of Christmas cards. Please consider taking the time to send this little guy a cute Christmas card to make his last Christmas a big holiday for him.

"Ugly" Challenge 2

Okay, for the next "Ugly" paper card challenge we have Gale's paper. Origionally this was a piece of 8.5 x 10 camping paper. It had stars towards the top of the paper and a campfire at the bottom of the paper....UGLY! Wouldn't use it in a million years. Here is my use for this ugly paper....I kinda like it!

"Ugly" Challenge

So, I will have a few cards to post over the next few days. This is the "ugly" part. Last month I went to a crop where the hostess put on an "ugliest paper" game. Whom ever had the ugliest paper won. Boy, it was hard to choose...they were all pretty ugly. Prior to getting to the crop I made the announcement that I would take all the ugly paper and produce a card as a special gift. So, here is the first card that came from Marty's ugly paper. The ugly paper provided is the pattern paper with the dots. I used colored cardstock and the cactus set from CTMH. This was a challenge!
